Today's the day

Today’s the day.

That you do that thing.

The one that’s been hanging around your mind for weeks.

You think of it in the shower, on the commute, before bed.
It’s not huge.
It’s not impossible.
But it lingers—long enough that it now comes with a twinge of guilt.

We tell ourselves it’s fantastical. Too far away. No one needs it.

But it's right there. Waiting to be looked at.

Here’s the trick... don’t tackle the whole mountain.

Write it down. All of it. Blitz the page. Messy. Out of order. Unfiltered.
And then circle one thing. Just one.
A five-minute task.
That’s it.

You don’t have to finish it today. You don’t even have to start the whole thing.

But one step forward beats another week of carrying the weight of “someday.”

Because here’s a fact about creative people:

We’re dreamers.
We move at the speed of light.
We see problems and patterns others don’t.
That’s our gift.

And sometimes this gift overwhelms us—because the vision in our heads feels too big for our hands.

But it isn’t too big. It just needs breaking down.

So what’s the one thing you can do today?

Not the whole project. Not the perfect version.

Just the first step.

Write it down.
Circle it.
Do it.

Today’s the day.

Stay weird,
❤️ Christie B
